Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds

Is an equestrian venue which hosts the CCPRA Coarsegold Rodeo and the PRCA Coarsegold Stampede Pro Rodeo.  Located on 38 acres of gorgeous countryside, the grounds are a great venue for weddings, concerts, business retreats and other events. Our goal is to provide the community with a safe and fun venue for local for profit and non profit events.

Dust off your boots and join us for the annual Coarsegold CCPRA Rodeo. We are an all-volunteer organization devoted to preserving our western heritage and proud mountain tradition of the sport of rodeo.  Our event has its origins at the McAllister Ranch before moving to is current Coarsegold California location since the 1970’s. We are a member of the CCPRA “California Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association” and is always, this rodeo held the 1st weekend in May.

     Experience life of early mountain settlers at the 25th annual Heritage Day at the Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds. There will be fun educational hands on learning booths, gold panning, wool spinning, basket weaving, acorn shelling, face painting, fossil digs, authentic Native American Tribal Dancing.

     The 2024 Coarsegold Rodeo invites families from the special needs community to attend this year's Michael Steen Exceptional Kids Rodeo. This free event allows "exceptional kids' of all ages to take part in rodeo-themed games and activities before main rodeo action starts on Saturday.
